The Lost Car Key Situation

A phone call from the customer revealed they had lost car key situation after dropping them in the sea during his walk. All we needed was the make, model, number plate and the colour to make it easier to find them in the car park.

Cutting Car Keys

Upon arrival, as the customer had lost car key issues we got out our specialist lock picks and set about unlocking the door, once opened we were able to use a lock reader to decipher the key code and cut a new key blank on our latest mobile key cutting machine. This key cutting machine, which collects all the intricate data required, allows us to enter the cipher and cut the valuable replacement.

Programming Car Keys

With our newly cut blank key,  we need to program this to the car.

Firstly we program in the details required to generate a new immobiliser transponder into the key. Each electronic key transponder is programmed with data for your specific car and then has to be matched to your car.

Second, we need to match this key to your cars immo system.
During this matching process the car sends a code to the key to align them, or pair them, to each other. Once this happens the key is then locked to the car and can never be programmed to another car.
